Job Summary
The project is being implemented in Arusha/Kilimanjaro, Tanga, Southern Highland (Mbeya, Songwe, Njombe and Iringa), Lake Zone (Kagera, Mwanza, Geita and Simiyu), and Coastal (Dar Es Salaam, Pwani and Morogoro) regions in Tanzania with the aim to establish financially sustainable private channels and more efficient public channels for delivery of artificial insemination and related dairy cattle services.
Job Description
Land O’Lakes Venture37 invites proposals to conduct a final evaluation in Tanzania of its 5-year PAID program, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The project is being implemented in Arusha/Kilimanjaro, Tanga, Southern Highland (Mbeya, Songwe, Njombe and Iringa), Lake Zone (Kagera, Mwanza, Geita and Simiyu), and Coastal (Dar Es Salaam, Pwani and Morogoro) regions in Tanzania with the aim to establish financially sustainable private channels and more efficient public channels for delivery of artificial insemination and related dairy cattle services. The Final Evaluation aims to analyze the extent to which the PAID project is achieving its goal, utilizing the standard evaluation criteria of relevance, impact, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability.

The evaluation is expected the take about 4 months, starting on June 1, 2020, with a final report due no later than October 9, 2020. Applicants are expected to have strong expertise in conducting program evaluations of agricultural development programs, especially in the dairy sector.
