Open University of Tanzania Selection Degree And Non-Degree 2020/2021
The Open University of Tanzania was established by an Act of Parliament No. 17 of 1992. The Act became operational on 1st March, 1993 by publication of Notice No. 55 in the official gazette.
The First Chancellor was officially installed in a full ceremony on 19th January, 1994. Act No.17 of 1992 has now been replaced by the Open University of Tanzania Charter, effectively from January 1st, 2007, which is in line with the University Act No.7 of 2005.
The Open University of Tanzania (OUT) would like to inform all applicants with multiple admissions for the 2020/2021 AcademicYear that, in order to secure admission into different study programmes offered at OUT, Confirmation by individual applicant is necessary.
Confirmation of the admission MUST be done not later than 23rd October,2019.To confirm your admission, please follow the following steps:
1. Log into your admission profile in the admission system (https://admission.out.ac.tz/index.php/login/).
2. Request a confirmation code through a link in your admission profile.
3. You will receive a SPECIAL CODE sent to you via SMS.
4. Enter the SPECIAL CODE you received into your admission profile to complete your confirmation.
