Associate Consultants, Accountant &Financial Officer, Business Development Officer and Administrative Officer.

1. Associate Consultants (20)
Job Description

Job Role:
We are looking for part time Consultants who can participate in various consultancy works both in and outside Tanzania for the period of One Year. They will be contracted depending on their qualifications (demand driven).

1.1. Scope of Responsibilities:
i) Interact with proposal developing team to plan and develop expression of interest and proposals
ii) Communicate with clients to clearly understand consultancy requirements and scope
iii) Review and comments on terms of reference on the area of expertise
iv) Maintain high level of professionalism and competence in client communications
v) Provide business solutions and recommendations to clients to meet consultancy goals/objectives
vi) Provide training to clients on consultancy deliverables when needed
vii) Monitor and report consultancy status to clients on regular basis
viii) Ensure that consultancy deliverables meet client requirements and quality standards.
ix) Build positive working relationship with clients and ensure client satisfaction
x) Maintain complete consultancy documentations for reference purposes
xi) Ensure that consultancy team works according to project scope and timelines
xii) Participate in data analysis and report writing

1.2. Essentials and Minimum Qualifications:
i) Postgraduate degree in Procurement and Supply Management; Business/Public Administration; International Relations; Human Resource Planning& Mgt; Public Policy; Project Planning& Management; Population & Public Health; Agricultural Economics; Development Economics; Community Development; Finance Management; Integrated Sanitation Management; Environmental Health; Human Nutrition; Food Science & Technology; Animal Science; Production Chain Management; Social Work; Gender Studies or other related field.
ii) PhD candidates with solid knowledge on training and research methodologies are preferred
iii) Proven experience on publications in peer reviewed journals and consultancy work undertaken
iv) Experience in developing and carrying out robust field implementation and training plans
v) Demonstrated ability to synthesize, link and articulate complex information and data from various areas and generate evidence to inform decision-making.
vi) Ability to draw practical conclusions and prepare well‐written reports in a timely manner and availability during the proposed period

2. Business Development Officer (2)

Job Summary

We’re looking for a highly intelligent and experienced Business developer

Job Description

Direct reporting to: Programs Manager

2.1. Scope of Responsibilities:
i) Participate in drafting expression of interests, proposals with proposal developing team
ii) Develop a database of potential donors and clients and seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
iii) Identify new calls for Consultancy or project and inform the supervisor on weekly basis
iv) Take lead in attending opening of tenders and submitting tender documents where appropriate
v) Develop all promotional materials for the company i.e. fliers, brochures, banners etc
vi) Develop a database of key consultants and projects implemented by the company
vii) Organizing and managing events including planning and budgeting
viii) Drafting and editing articles for the firm’s periodical newsletter and other promotional materials i.e. fliers, brochures, banners etc
ix) Preparing presentation for pitches to potential clients
x) To perform any other official duties as may be assigned by relevant authorities of the company

2.2. Essentials and Minimum Qualifications:
i) A postgraduate degree in Development Economics, Agricultural Economics, Public Policy, Marketing and Procurement, Finance, Business Administration, Project Planning, Investment and Planning or any other related field.
ii) Must have at least 3.5 GPA at undergraduate level
iii) Experience in Consultancy industry will be an added advantage
iv) Understanding of tendering processes, government procurement and TRA systems
v) Good working knowledge of MS Office and Desktop publishing applications.
vi) Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
vii) Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
viii) Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision in a busy environment

Job Description
Direct reporting to: Finance and Administrative manager

3.1. Scope of Responsibilities:
i) Assisting in the preparation of budgets
ii) Managing records and receipts
iii) Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
iv) Preparing balance sheets and other final accounts
v) Processing invoices to Clients
vi) Participate in financial audits
vii) Developing an in-depth knowledge of organizational products and process
viii) Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
ix) Supporting the Finance and Administrative Manager and Programs Manager with projects and tasks whenrequired
x) To perform any other official duties as may be assigned by relevant authorities of the company

3.2. Essentials and Minimum Qualifications:
i) Bachelor degree in Finance; Accounting; Business Administration; Mathematics or other related field
ii) Must have at least 3.5 GPA
iii) Knowledge in SAP, Quick-books or other related Accounting Software is preferred
iv) Certified Public Accountant or related field is essential
v) Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of public finance administration
vi) Ability to design and prepare analytical or interpretative financial statements

Job Summary

We seek to hire an Administration aware person.

Job Description

Direct reporting to: Finance and Administrative Manager

Scope of Responsibilities:
i) Conduct systematic review of office premises to ensure a good and secure working environment for all staff members including the Associate Consultants by undertaking all actions necessary to arrange office cleaning
ii) Make arrangement for procurement, maintenance and repair of equipment, services and supplies in accordance with budgetary plans and allocations
iii) Periodically conduct systematic review of organizational policies, operating systems and internal controls to ensure they are congruent to the principles and aims of the Company
iv) Meeting with clients and maintain good client relations to promote the image of NCCL
v) Risk management and documentation control to achieve organizational effectiveness
vi) Assist various departments of the Company in preparation of different reports i.e. expression of interest (EOI), proposals, plans & budgets for presentation to Board of Directors, Donors, Partners and Beneficiaries
vii) Assisting with preparation of tenders and proposals for new business
viii) Creating and managing social media content including the company website
ix) Ensuring digital marketing content aligns with corporate brand’s identity
x) Prospecting new clients via calls, email and networking events
xi) Perform general administrative tasks in order to ensure that the relevant documentation is accurate and accessible.

4.2. Essentials and Minimum Qualifications:
i) Bachelor degree in Business Administration; Human Resource Planning& Mgt; Project Planning& Mgt; Agricultural Economics; Development Economics; Rural/Community Development or other related field
ii) Must have at least 3.5 GPA
iii) Experience in Consultancy industry will be an added advantage
iv) Good working knowledge of MS Office and desktop publishing applications.
v) Good personal organizational skills including time management and ability to meet deadlines
vi) Understanding of tendering processes and government procurement
vii) Experience in the INGO or NGO sector i.e. Funded by USAID or UKAID is an added advantage;
