Looking for Gender Expert
AAN Associates is looking for ”Gender Expert” for UNICEF Tanzania opportunity of “Evaluation of the Simplified Birth Registration System in mainland Tanzania”.
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
Master’s Degree in social science especially gender studies, or relevant discipline
Experience:
- 5-9 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in the substantive area, of which five years at the international level
- Extensive experience in research and policy-level analysis.
- Substantial experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of gender projects
- Experience in using gender based analysis approaches (GBA+) (must)
- Experience of working with UN agencies, preferably UNICEF
Language:
Fluency in English language, including excellent drafting and presentation skills.
Knowledge of duty station languages ( Swahili).
