More than 50 people in Iraq have lost their lives in a fire accident at a corona hospital. Reports say the fire started after an oxygen tank exploded although a report explaining the exact source has not yet been released.
Following the incident, the country’s Prime Minister, Mustafa al-Kadhimi, ordered the arrest of the head of the hospital for further questioning.
Through his twitter page, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Mohammed al-Halbousi, wrote: “This incident is a testament to the failure to protect the lives of our citizens, it is time to end this.

The service delivery situation at the health facility has not been good due to relatives of patients who lost their lives marching around the hospital.
